“Having previously worked in Kernel programming and High Performance Computing my whole career, I definitely wanted a change, and that change was Aconex. The uniqueness of the platform was a real interest to me and a key reason why I joined the company.

“And it’s been an interesting journey so far. I started off as a Software Engineer in early 2006. After about 12 months, I was promoted to Senior Software Engineer and by the next year, I was moved into a Team Leader role which involved guiding and shaping the direction and focus of the core engineering team. By the end of 2008, I was promoted to Engineering Manager and I’m now part of one of our core development teams.

“Aconex has allowed me to utilize my strengths to the best of my ability and develop and grow a range of skills that I didn’t have before working here. There’s a collaborative and welcoming environment which allows us to bounce ideas off others and ask questions at any time. The only exception to this is at the foosball table, then it’s war!”
