Darwin Biodiesel Refinery - Australia

The refinery is expected to produce in excess of 140 million litres per year from 123,000 tonnes of palm oil. The $48 million renewable energy plant is one of the first of its kind in the world and is expected to produce 140 million liters of biodiesel and 12,000 tonnes of pharmaceutical grade glycerin per year.
