Adelaide Airport Terminal One – Australia
Aconex was used to bring together 1,300 project participants from Europe, Australia and New Zealand on the AU$260 million (US$170m) Terminal One (T1) development at Adelaide Airport. Over the three-year project, Aconex was used to store and manage 158,000 documents and 460,000 project mails.
The new terminal occupies a 75,000 square meter site and comprises 42 check-in desks and 14 aerobridges. T1 has received more than 20 awards for excellence in construction and innovation. This includes being named the world’s second best International Airport for 5-15 million passengers.
“Aconex provides a mechanism to exchange information. Document records are easily maintained and tracking them is so much easier.” – Chris Pratt, Construction Manager, Hansen Yuncken.
