Aconex wins three iAwards including ‘best of the best’
Aconex scooped three awards at the 2009 iAwards including the Inspiration iAward for being Australia’s ‘best of the best ICT solution’. Aconex, the world’s largest provider of online collaboration solutions to the construction and engineering industries, also won the Industrial Application category and was named Exporter of the Year.
The AIIA iAwards – managed by the Australian Information Industry Association – are Australia's leading annual ICT industry awards and showcase innovation and excellence within the industry. Following its success at the national awards, Aconex will now represent Australia at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards in December.
Leigh Jasper, the company’s CEO and co-founder, said: “These awards are recognition of the hard work and innovation that goes into developing our product and building our business. Over the past five years, we’ve seen rapid uptake in markets such as the Middle East, Asia, Europe and, more recently, North America. Jasper added: “Even with the downturn affecting most of the world’s construction markets, we’re still seeing demand for our solution, particularly as government agencies look to improve efficiency and control risk on their infrastructure developments.”
