Global Project Management Firm Selects Aconex
Aconex has signed a company-wide agreement with Confluence, one of the world’s leading project management firms. The deal will see Confluence use the Aconex online information management solution on all their projects in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Confluence will use Aconex to control the large volume of documentation that flows through the organization and to communicate more efficiently with project partners.
Guy Scott, Confluence Managing Director, said: “Confluence is typically involved in the early stages of a project – in the project’s inception, the client brief and establishing client expectations. At this stage, there are usually many different parties involved from a variety of locations. Aconex will help bring all parties together quickly and easily. Using the system will allow us to track and monitor all of our communications and reduce the risks associated with lost or unread documents.”
Confluence has previously used Aconex on more than 30 projects worldwide, including the $40 billion Yas Island commercial development in Abu Dhabi, the Formula One Theme Park in Dubai and the One Hyde Park residential development in London.
Scott added: “One of the main reasons we selected Aconex was their expertise in supporting complex, international projects. We are currently working in 18 countries and through their network of offices they are able to supply on the ground training and support to all internal and external team members.”
Australian-based Confluence, confluencepm.com, with its international headquarters in Singapore, is a world-class project management consultancy, providing independent, high-quality services to clients in the property and construction industries across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Australasia.
