Project management firm Thinc Projects selects Aconex for global portfolio
International project management firm Thinc Projects has selected to use the Aconex online collaboration system across its entire project portfolio.
Thinc Projects manages a wide range of construction developments, including residential, tourism, infrastructure and defence projects in Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Using Aconex, a web-based system for managing project information such as documents and correspondence, will enable the company to control the large volumes of information generated on its projects and to communicate more efficiently with its project partners.
Since 2001, Thinc Projects has used Aconex on more than 180 projects worldwide, from small refurbishments to billion-dollar transport developments. Peter Galvin, Managing Director of Thinc Projects, said: “Our projects range in size and complexity and so we require a scalable and robust system to manage our project information. Aconex provides us with a central repository for all our drawings, documents and mail items, so that regardless of where our project is located or who is involved, our data is securely stored in one place.”
