“Like a lot of people at Aconex, I come from an industry background – previously working as a civil engineer before moving into project management. I later became involved in document control and, at that time, the company I worked for didn’t use a document management system, so I saw first-hand how inefficient and frustrating the job could be.

“When Aconex was introduced onto my project, I started using the system heavily and could quickly see the positive change it brought. Also, any time I dealt with Aconex, the people were friendly, professional and passionate about their job, and so I enquired about working there.

“I began working for the company in 2007, and was involved in supporting our largest Singapore project, the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort. I was responsible for training our users, implementing the system and troubleshooting any questions that arose. Working on a project of such massive scale taught me a lot, and it was great to see the real-world benefits a system like Aconex provides.

“After three years, I finished up working with MBS and am now involved in managed the local client operations team in Singapore. Being responsible for a large team is something I would never have imagined before working here and has enabled me to develop my communication and management skills.
