BIM: Managing the data deluge (part 1)

Although there has been talk for a long time about the use of BIM (Building Information Modelling) in construction and engineering, many now feel it is a technology whose time has come to shine. Of course, BIM is still only used on a fraction of projects, but data from the Aconex platform suggests that there has been a marked increase in its adoption by the industry over the past year.
