Aconex has been selected to service the Entertainment City Manila Project inside PagCor City. The web-based system will accelerate delivery of the mega project, by speeding up communication and information exchange between companies.

The project, being delivered by Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc., will feature an integrated five-star hotel and casino. The hotel will feature world-class leisure facilities and restaurants.

During the project’s design and construction phases, it’s anticipated that hundreds of thousands of drawings, documents and correspondence items will need to be exchanged between a globally-dispersed team. Aconex will enable the project team to access, distribute, track and archive their information in real time, using one central system.

“At an early stage, we identified that tools such as FTP sites and email would not be sufficient for a project of this scale. With its custom-built functionality for the construction industry, Aconex will enable us to effectively manage a vast flow of information.”

Pagcor (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.) City is a multibillion-dollar government project that covers prime reclaimed land at the western portion of the Manila Bay in Parañaque. In addition to attracting local and foreign visitors, the complex is expected to generate jobs and boost the country’s ancillary service sectors.
