Aspect Group Chooses Aconex Platform to Power Complex Building Project in Dubai
Complex Aquila School build in Dubai leveraging Aconex for integrated cost control with process and information management
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 24 October 2017 – Aconex Limited (ASX: ACX), the #1 platform for digital project delivery in construction and engineering projects, today announced that Aspect Group has chosen Aconex to help manage construction of the K-12 Aquila School in Dubai, U.A.E. The Aspect Group is an experienced full service consultancy to the construction industry and was selected for the project due to their end to end service offering, in particular within the education sector Aspect’s engagement with Aquila School covers design project management and commercial services.

The Aquila School is an International Schools Partnership (ISP) project. ISP is headquartered in London and has 15 partner schools educating 13,000 children from 3-18 years of age across the United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico and the Middle East.
The project has a hard deadline of September 2018 to coincide with the start of the academic year. To meet that handover date, the project team, client, prime contractor and numerous sub-contractors must all work closely together, communicating and managing the flow of project-related information effectively. There is no room for miscommunication, errors or rework. Aconex connects the entire build team (an estimated 150+ users at the peak of construction) and all project data on a single, project-wide platform where everyone has their own secure workspace and project information is available to all parties.
