To make Aconex even more secure, in February 2014 we’ll be moving access on the instances listed here to support only HTTPS (encrypted traffic).

So what does that mean?

We’ve always had HTTPS access by default, but you could still revert to HTTP if you chose to.

Once this change takes place, HTTPS will be the only way to access Aconex.

For example, if you usually access the Australia/New Zealand instance via http://au1.aconex.com, you will now need to use https://au1.aconex.com.

Why change?

HTTPS provides a more secure connection. We’re always looking at ways to improve the security of your information.

What should I do?

Nothing. We’ll automatically direct you to the HTTPS address. You shouldn’t even notice the change — everything should still work as it always did.
